150 PLN day pass buys you drinks and a seat, not a meal

The Executive Lounge in T2 sits near gate 14 by the toy store and runs 05:00–21:00, but it’s very much a drinks-and-laptop stop. Priority Pass and walk‑ins are accepted, and the 150 PLN pay‑in makes sense only if you’ll use the alcohol and power sockets, not the food.

Signage in T2 is weak: look for a small “Executive Lounge” sign around gate 14, then double back past the Toys Store entrance. More than one FlyerTalk report mentions getting lost here, so don’t start hunting for it five minutes before boarding a Schengen departure.

Access rules are strict: non-paying guests are limited to about 3 hours before departure, and staff have sent status passengers away who showed up 5 hours early. If you need longer, factor in the 150 PLN day pass and decide if that’s worth it versus camping at a landside café in T2.

Drinks are the strong point. Two self‑serve fridges are stacked with beer, another fridge holds soft drinks and water, and spirits come free from the bar on request. Coffee is via machine rather than barista, but for a pre‑7 a.m. T2 departure the combination of beer, vodka, and caffeine covers the basics.

Food is the weak link. Regulars describe “a few selection of cold food and some dry snacks” on repeat: think simple sandwiches, cereals, and packaged nibbles with a tiny cold buffet. If you want a real meal before a gate 14 flight, eat in the main terminal and treat the lounge as a top‑up, not dinner.

The room itself is small but usable, with a lot of natural light and several TV screens showing news and flight information. Reviews call the decor dated and basic compared to bigger hubs, yet one Yelp reviewer still calls the seating comfortable for a 60–90 minute wait.

Power is where this place quietly wins: one FlyerTalk user notes “every seat has an electric plug,” which is rare for a contract lounge at a regional airport. Wi‑Fi runs on the “GDNAirport hotspot VIP” SSID, so speeds depend on airport capacity rather than a private network, but it’s fine for email and streaming.

Facilities are minimal: standard toilets only, no showers, no loungers, and no quiet zone or sleep area. There is a small business corner with desks, yet connections of 4+ hours in T2 are still better split between the public terminal and a shorter lounge visit.

Regulars aim for mid‑day or mid‑afternoon when reports say it can be nearly empty, like one Monday visit at noon, and skip the busier early‑morning and evening banks. Tip: if you’re Priority Pass and on a late flight, time entry to start about 2.5–3 hours before departure so you don’t risk being turned away at the door.
