Meeting Point Lounge isn’t a real lounge at GDN

At Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN), “Meeting Point Lounge” usually just refers to the general landside seating and meeting areas before security, not a staffed lounge with food, drinks, or showers. If you’re looking for a Priority Pass–style space in T2, the only documented option is the Executive Lounge airside after security.

This “lounge” sits landside, so you access it without a boarding pass or security check and can meet people arriving on flights into T1 or T2. That makes it useful if you’re picking someone up and need a place to sit before their arrival time, but it won’t help with pre-flight perks like hot food, alcohol, or quiet work pods.

Because it’s landside, any seating around the Meeting Point relies on the main terminal amenities: public restrooms on the departure level, standard terminal Wi‑Fi provided by GDN, and whatever cafes are open that day. Expect regular airport pricing from nearby outlets like Costa Coffee or SO! Coffee rather than flat lounge-style entry fees.

Hours line up with terminal opening times, so you’ll usually find these seating areas available from the first departures wave around 04:00 until the last evening flights close out after 22:00 in T2. There’s no check-in desk, no guest policy, and no time limits because this is open public space, not an access-controlled lounge.

If you want a real lounge before a Schengen or non-Schengen flight out of T2, head for the Executive Lounge after security instead; reports put it near the main airside shopping area by the departure gates with self-serve snacks and drinks included in the entry fee or lounge program access. That space will beat landside seating for power outlets, calm, and a predictable selection of food.

One practical move: treat “Meeting Point Lounge” as a rendezvous label only. Meet your group landside here, then clear security together and, if you care about comfort, budget 20–30 minutes to reach the Executive Lounge in T2 before boarding starts.
