T1’s Local Crafts shop sits just past security in Fuerteventura
You’ll find Local Crafts in Terminal T1, airside, on the main departures level after security. It’s a small shop focused on Canary Islands souvenirs, so this is where you grab something that actually says “Fuerteventura” before boarding.
Most items sit in the €5–€30 range: simple magnets and keyrings at the low end, local ceramics and textiles higher up. Compared to the duty free nearby, prices feel more gift-shop than luxury, but still airport-marked. Expect branded mugs, fridge magnets, beach-style bags, and a few shelves with regional crafts.
The shop usually trades through the main departure bank, roughly from the early morning flights around 06:00 until the last evening departures. Stock leans toward quick-grab items that fit in hand luggage, so you won’t find bulky furniture or large art pieces, just small bowls, figurines, and printed t‑shirts.
There’s no strong split by gate, but if you’re flying from the higher-numbered Schengen gates, you’ll walk directly past the storefront on the way to your flight. Card payments are standard, and most staff speak at least basic English plus Spanish.
Tip: walk the shop once, then compare a couple of prices with the main resort towns you’ve seen; if it’s close, buy here so you’re not hunting for souvenirs at 22:00 after landing home.
