Destination Shop

T1

T1’s Destination Shop sits airside after security in FUE.

You hit Destination Shop in Terminal T1 right after security, before most of the gates fan out. It’s a general travel store rather than a duty-free liquor/perfume spot, so think last-minute basics and gifts more than deep discounts.

Pricing lands in the standard Spanish airport range: bottled water around €2, snacks between €1.50–€4, and simple souvenirs (magnets, keyrings) from about €3. It’s open through the main daytime wave of departures, roughly early morning to late evening, so you’re covered for most Ryanair, easyJet, and Iberia flights.

Stock usually covers the standard travel kit: phone chargers and EU adapters, basic headphones, small power banks, neck pillows, eye masks, plus sunscreen that fits the 100 ml rule. Expect bags of crisps, chocolate bars, and a few grab-and-go sweets you can take on a 3–4 hour hop back to the UK or mainland Europe.

Watch for airport markups on cables and power banks; those can run €15–€30 compared to supermarket prices. Branded souvenirs with “Fuerteventura” on them cost more than the same items in town, but they’ll save you a scramble if you forgot to shop in Corralejo or Caleta de Fuste.

Quick tip: if you need anything tech-related, stop at Destination Shop right after security in T1, before heading down to your gate cluster, so you’re not doubling back against boarding queues.
