Next to T1 departures security, this is the toy stop
Kids Store sits airside in Fuerteventura Airport’s T1, just past central security and before most gates. It’s a small, bright kids’ shop focused on toys, games and last‑minute distractions before short‑haul flights across Spain and Europe. You’ll see it on the main passenger flow between security and the departure lounge, so no detour needed if you’re flying with Ryanair, Vueling, Iberia or other T1 carriers.
Stock skews to branded toys and travel‑friendly items: small soft toys, sticker books, card games and simple puzzles that work at cramped gate seats. Expect airport pricing; basic colouring sets usually sit a few euros higher than downtown shops in Puerto del Rosario. You can still find sub‑€10 bits to keep a toddler busy on a 4‑hour hop to Germany or the UK.
Hours generally track T1’s main departing bank, opening early morning for 06:00–08:00 departures and staying open into the evening wave. If you land late from mainland Spain into T1, don’t count on it being open by the time you collect bags around 23:00. It’s handy if you forgot headphones for a child, but selection tilts younger rather than teen tech.
Payment is straightforward: cards widely accepted, including contactless, and euro cash at the regular airport rate. Staff can usually switch between Spanish and basic English, helped by picture‑heavy packaging. Receipts are printed with T1 location details in case you need exchanges on the same travel day.
Tip: stop here right after security in T1, before kids see the sweets further down and your toy budget gets eaten by candy instead.
