T1

By gate side in T1, Food and Goods fills the gap

This small shop sits airside in Terminal T1 at Fuerteventura Airport and runs through the main departure hours, roughly covering the first UK departures in the morning through late afternoon holiday flights. It’s the catch-all stop when you realise you forgot a phone cable or want snacks before a low-cost carrier hop.

Food and Goods mixes grab-and-go bites with basic travel items on the same shelves. Expect packaged sandwiches, crisps, and chocolate bars at typical airport markups, plus 0.5L bottled water and soft drinks you can carry onto Schengen and non-Schengen flights from T1. You also see sunscreen, sunglasses and small beach bits aimed at resort traffic.

The non-food side leans on last-minute essentials: USB charging cables, power adapters compatible with Spanish 230V outlets, headphones, neck pillows, and a few kids’ toys that are priced higher than in town but save a meltdown at gate B-level. You’ll also find small souvenirs branded “Fuerteventura” near the front counter alongside keyrings and magnets.

Stock can thin out on peak days when multiple UK and German departures leave within 60 minutes, especially on sandwiches and basic electronics like USB-C cables. Pay at a single counter near the entrance; card payments in euros are the norm, and contactless usually works faster than chip-and-PIN when queues spike.

Tip: If you need food before a late-afternoon flight, swing by Food and Goods at least 30 minutes before scheduled boarding to avoid the pre-departure rush on cold snacks and bottled drinks.
