Gate-side caffeine fix near departures in T1

This is a small Buondi-branded kiosk in Terminal 1, past security in the main departures hall at Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport. It runs typical daytime hours aligned with flight banks, so you’ll usually find it open from early morning through late afternoon departures. Expect quick counter service and stand-up tables rather than a full sit-down café.

As the name hints, coffee is the point here: standard Buondi espresso, cappuccino, and galao sit in the €1.20–€3.00 range, depending on size and milk. You order at the counter, pay immediately, then grab your drink from the bar side. It’s faster than heading back landside or hunting for a larger café elsewhere in T1.

Food is basic snack fare: pre-made sandwiches, pastries like pastel de nata, and packaged items, usually around €2–€5 each. Nothing here replaces a full meal, but it works for a quick bite before an early TAP or easyJet departure. Turnover is steady, so pastries don’t tend to sit all day, but selection can thin out by the late afternoon bank.

There’s no dedicated seating area; you’ll be standing at the counter or taking your cup toward the Schengen gates in T1. Card payments are accepted, including contactless, but small notes and coins move faster when there’s a short line before a 06:00–08:00 wave. Tip: if your gate is already shown, order to go and walk your coffee down; you can keep an eye on boarding while you finish it.
