Gate-side in T1, Bites & Beer sits on the main departures concourse

You find Bites & Beer airside in Terminal 1, after security, so it works for any FNC departure out of T1. It’s a straightforward stop for a cold drink and something quick before boarding. Expect standard bar-style food and drinks rather than anything regional or fancy.

Hours at Bites & Beer generally track the T1 schedule, opening for the morning wave of flights and running into the evening bank, so you’ll usually be covered for departures between roughly 06:00 and 22:00. It’s casual, walk-up service at the counter, with orders paid on the spot and brought to your table or handed over at the bar.

Menu pricing lands in typical airport territory: think mid-range euros for a beer and roughly low double digits for a basic meal combo. You’ll see the usual mix of bottled and draft beers, soft drinks, and simple snacks that work for a 30–45 minute sit-down before heading to boarding at nearby gates in T1.

Food leans toward quick bites over full courses: sandwiches, bar snacks, and simple mains sized so you can be in and out between boarding-group calls on most intra-Europe flights. Portion sizes match the price, so don’t expect a huge plate for a single-digit euro tag; plan on ordering a drink plus at least one food item if you’re actually hungry.

Tip: if your gate in T1 is already posted, aim to sit on the side of Bites & Beer that faces your gate area so you can watch boarding screens without getting up every five minutes.
