Opposite gate signs for T1 departures, Parfois breaks up the wait
In Terminal T1 at Cristiano Ronaldo International, Parfois sits landside on the departures level as a quick stop for fashion accessories before security. You’ll see the black-and-white logo on the main walkway leading toward the T1 security checkpoint, roughly a 2–3 minute walk from the airline check-in counters for TAP and easyJet.
This is a mid-range fashion shop: expect handbags around €25–€45, costume jewelry from about €6, and small wallets or pouches in the €10–€20 range. Stock follows the current Parfois European collections, so you’ll find seasonal colors rather than Madeira souvenirs. Card payments are accepted, and contactless works fine for under-€50 tap limits most cards use.
Opening hours usually track T1’s first and last bank of departures, roughly 06:00 until around 22:00, but staff sometimes close a little early on nights with few flights. If you’re on a late Ryanair or Transavia departure, aim to shop before 21:00 to be safe. Because it’s landside, you can also swing by if you’re dropping someone off and not flying.
Parfois mainly sells handbags, crossbody bags, costume jewelry, watches, sunglasses, scarves, and some small travel items like card holders and coin purses. You won’t find full outfits here: no jeans, no large luggage, and no formalwear. Think “add a bag and earrings” rather than “build a suitcase wardrobe.” Stock changes frequently, so sizes in belts or hats can be hit-or-miss on quieter days.
Watch out for impulse buys stacking up: three small-ticket items at €10–€15 each add up fast, especially after airport coffee at €3–€4. If you’re tight on time, set a 10-minute timer on your phone before you walk in so you still have at least 20–25 minutes left for T1 security and the walk to your gate.
