Gate-side in T1, Clocks keeps you fed without detouring

Right in Terminal T1 at Cristiano Ronaldo International, Clocks sits on the main departures level as one of the easier grab-and-go food spots before your gate. It’s a straight shot from central security in T1, so you’re not losing 10–15 minutes hunting through side corridors for a snack. Think quick airport café more than sit-down restaurant.

Clocks runs during standard flight banks in T1, opening early enough for morning departures and staying open into the late afternoon wave. Food is counter-service only, so you order, pay, and either walk off toward the gates or grab a seat nearby. Seating in this part of T1 is mostly shared with the rest of the concourse, not a separate dining room.

Pricing lines up with typical Portuguese airport café levels: coffee around a few euros, simple sandwiches in the high single digits, and soft drinks at the usual airport markup. Expect basic pastries, pre-made sandwiches, and bottled drinks more than cooked-to-order meals. If you want a bigger hot plate or local seafood, you’ll need to roam further across T1.

There’s no real signature dish tied to Clocks, so treat it as a practical stop for a quick espresso, water bottle, or something to hold you over on a short hop from FNC. If you care about food quality more than time, use Clocks as a backup and scout the rest of T1 first.

Tip: Hit Clocks right after clearing T1 security if your boarding pass shows a tight 45–60 minute turnaround and you still need coffee or a sandwich.
