Rates follow typical airport pricing: worse than what you’d get from a fee-free card, but fine if you need €50–€200 in a hurry. Cards are accepted for buying foreign currency, which can be useful if you want to keep some cash aside for your trip.
Watch out for dynamic currency conversion on card payments and for “0% commission” signs that hide the cost in the spread. For most travellers, using a bank ATM in-town is cheaper.
