€45 a day gets you closest to Dublin’s T1 doors
Terminal 1 Short Term Block C is the pay-up-front option when you want the car almost at the terminal. The daily max runs at €45.00, so this is for short trips, not a week-long holiday. It’s signed as a short stay car park, and sits directly across from T1, with covered multi-storey style parking and standard car spaces.
On foot, you’re around 5 minutes from the Block C elevator lobby to Terminal 1 departures. Add a minute or so if you’re juggling kids and bags. For T2, count about 6 minutes using the covered walkways between terminals. Lifts and ramps make it workable with wheelie bags and strollers, but you’re still walking outside for part of it, so pack a rain jacket.
Pricing is simple: short-stay hourly rates climb quickly until you hit the €45 daily maximum. That’s fine for a one- or two-day work trip, expensive once you hit day three. Prebooking online usually locks in space, but the key point is cost versus time saved compared with long-term parking that can be 10–15 minutes away by shuttle.
There’s no separate fast-track or premium section inside Block C, just standard bays spread across several levels serving Terminal 1. Height restrictions apply in multi-storey sections, so check your vehicle height if you drive a van or large SUV before committing at the barrier. Electric charging points are limited across DUB parking generally, so assume none here unless the airport site explicitly lists a charger count.
Tip: If you’re flying out of T2 but returning into T1, Block C keeps your walk to around 5–6 minutes each way and saves messing with shuttles after a late landing.
