10-15 minutes on the shuttle from terminals to Express Green
Express Green Car Park sits off-airport but runs frequent shuttle buses to both T1 and T2, typically every 10–15 minutes. It’s Dublin Airport’s economy option, so pricing undercuts the short-term multi-storey by a clear margin on multi-day stays. Spaces are open-air, standard size, and you keep your keys. Ticketing is ANPR-based: the camera reads your registration on entry and exit if you pre-book.
Pre-booking online usually locks in better rates, especially for trips of 3 days or more. Turn-up pricing can swing significantly on busy bank holiday weekends. Payment works via card at the exit barrier or via booking confirmation; cash isn’t always available, so assume card-only. Height limits aren’t an issue here because it’s surface parking, but oversized vans and minibuses should still cross-check the booking terms.
The shuttle loop runs straight to the main terminal forecourt, dropping near both T1 and T2 entrances in under 15 minutes in light traffic. Buses are standard airport coaches with basic luggage racks, not city buses. Early morning departures (around 04:00–06:00) can see buses fill up fast, so allow an extra 10 minutes in case you need to wait for the next one. Return pickups follow posted signs for “Express Green / long-term” at the terminal coach areas.
Lighting runs along the main drive lanes and bus stops, though far-end rows feel darker late at night. Mark your row and zone on your phone as you park; the color-coded sections and row numbers save a lot of hunting after a 22:30 arrival. One simple tip: snap a photo of the nearest lamppost number and shuttle stop sign as you walk to the bus.
