Blue Long Stay Car Park

Long-stay

10–15 minutes from T1/T2 by shuttle, this is DUB’s budget workhorse

Blue Long Stay Car Park sits off-airport with a shuttle transfer to Dublin Airport running around every 10–15 minutes to both T1 and T2. It’s the long-stay option you book when you’d rather spend money in the terminal than on parking. Spaces are uncovered, standard width, and marked, so no height limits or tight ramps to deal with.

This is long-stay only, so think trips starting at a couple of days up to two weeks or more, not quick overnights. Prebooking online usually works out noticeably cheaper than drive-up rates, especially in summer and around bank holidays. If you’re pricing it against taxis from outer suburbs, it often wins once you cross about 3–4 days of parking.

Shuttles drop at the coach park area near T1/T2, so add 5–10 minutes to walk from the bus stop into check-in. Buses run in the early hours for 06:00 departures and keep going late for the last evening arrivals, but off-peak gaps feel longer, so don’t cut it close for early Ryanair or Aer Lingus flights.

There’s ANPR at the barrier: your number plate pulls up your booking on entry and exit. Keep the confirmation handy in case the system misses the plate or your return flight changes date. The car park is patrolled and lit, but there’s no covered pedestrian walkway, so in Irish rain you’re straight from car door to shuttle stop.

Tip: Screenshot or print your booking with zone details before you leave home and drop a pin in your phone map when you park; saves wandering rows in the dark when your return lands at 23:30.
