29 € per day puts P1 directly next to T1’s doors
P1 is the short-stay multi-storey car park bolted onto Dortmund Airport’s T1 terminal, with a walking time of about 1 minute from your space to departures or arrivals. It runs 24/7 and uses automatic pay stations, so late-night and early-morning flights at DTM are covered without hunting for staff.
The headline cost is 29 € per day, making P1 one of the pricier options compared with outdoor lots like P6 further from the terminal. In return, you park indoors in a multi-storey structure, avoid shuttles completely, and step straight into the terminal building through the attached access.
Max vehicle height in P1 is 2.0 m, and that figure catches out people with taller vans or SUVs carrying roof boxes. If your car plus box or rack goes past that 2.0 m limit, plan on using open-air car parks such as P3 or P6 instead, where there is effectively no height restriction.
EV drivers get at least one marked space with an innogy/RWE eMOBILITY charging point on level 0, the arrivals level. It’s not a big bank of chargers, just a single official point inside P1, so assume first-come, first-served and don’t treat it like a guaranteed full recharge stop.
From 1 April 2026, holders of German disability codes aG, Bl, H or B can park in P1 at a reduced rate equal to the cheapest outdoor car park, currently P6. That means premium-distance terminal parking for the same daily price bracket as the most economical long-stay option on the field.
Tip: if your vehicle height is close to 2.0 m, measure it including any roof rails or box before driving to DTM and print your parking confirmation so you can head straight into P1 without stopping at the info desk.
