Gate-side books and snacks at Relay DPS
Just past security in Denpasar’s International terminal, Relay is the quick grab spot for last-minute reading, snacks, and small gifts before your flight out of DPS. You’ll usually see one unit near several main departure gates, so you don’t have to backtrack far from your boarding area to pick something up.
Relay carries English-language paperbacks, regional travel guides on Bali and Indonesia, and a rotating shelf of magazines that often includes titles like Time and National Geographic. Expect book prices to run higher than in city shops, but it’s still useful if you realized at Gate 2 that your Kindle is dead or your kid needs something new to read for a 6-hour flight.
On the snack side, you’ll find bottled water, soft drinks from brands like Coca-Cola, and grab-and-go items such as chips, biscuits, and chocolate bars. A basic drink and snack combo will usually land in the 40,000–70,000 IDR range, which is airport-markup territory but cheaper than many sit-down cafés in the same International departures area.
Relay also stocks practical flight stuff: basic headphones, power banks, charging cables, pens, and neck pillows, handy if you’re boarding a late-night long-haul from Denpasar to Sydney or Doha and notice your cable failed at the gate. Small toiletry and personal care items are here too, useful if your sunscreen or lip balm didn’t survive Nusa Dua.
Tip: if you just need water, compare Relay’s price with the nearest mini-mart-style shop in the International terminal; over a family of four on a 5-hour flight, that small difference adds up fast.
