Estacionamento Coberto

Covered parking

Covered spots sit directly across from Terminal 1 at CWB

Estacionamento Coberto is the covered parking lot in front of Terminal 1 at Curitiba-Afonso Pena (CWB), so you walk just a few minutes to the check-in hall. It sits on the same side of the access road as the main departures area, which keeps you out of the rain almost the entire way.

This is a fully covered structure, so your car stays protected from Curitiba’s frequent rain and summer sun for however long you park, whether that’s a quick one-day trip or a full week. Spaces are standard-sized, not oversized, and the aisles feel tight when the lot is close to full.

Pricing follows the usual Brazil airport pattern: a higher first-hour rate, then reduced additional hours, with a day cap that makes more sense once you hit around 8–12 hours. You pay in Brazilian reais at the automated machines or cashier before exiting, and they accept the typical local credit and debit cards.

Access runs 24 hours a day, matching the operating hours of Terminal 1 flights at CWB, so late-night arrivals and early-morning departures are covered. The entrance sits off the main airport loop road, with clear “Estacionamento Coberto” signs in Portuguese right after you pass the terminal drop-off zone.

Security is basic but present: there are cameras at the entrance and exits, plus regular staff patrols through the covered levels during the day and night. You pull a ticket at the gate, and the system logs your entry time automatically as soon as the barrier lifts.

Tip: On busy weekday mornings, arrive at least 20–30 minutes earlier than usual, as the rows closest to Terminal 1 doors fill first and you may need extra time to circle for a spot and pay at the machines.
