Surface lot

Daily rates here beat most off-airport options in Curaçao

General Parking at Hato International Airport (CUR) is the main surface lot directly in front of the terminal, so you walk from your car to check-in in roughly 3–5 minutes. It works for both departures and arrivals, and you stay on airport property the whole time, no shuttle involved. If you’re dropping someone at an early morning flight, this is the closest spot you can actually leave the car for a few hours.

This is an open-air surface lot with marked spaces, so your car sits in the Curaçao sun all day; plan on hot interiors after a full 8–10 hours parked. Lighting covers the lot at night, and you follow a simple ticket-at-entry, pay-before-exit setup at the terminal machines. If you land on a late evening flight after 22:00, the walking route from baggage claim to the lot is still under 5 minutes on foot.

Pricing is usually by the hour for short stays and then a capped daily rate, so a quick 2–3 hour pickup costs much less than a full day. For longer trips, calculate your total days before you arrive; five days at the day rate may undercut taxis both ways from Willemstad by a decent margin. Keep cash or a working card handy, as the pay machines sometimes prefer one over the other depending on the bank.

There’s usually more space toward the back of the lot, so if you arrive within 60–90 minutes of departure, skip the first two rows and drive slightly farther in to avoid circling near the entrance.
