Accessible Parking

Right next to the CUR terminal, this is the step-free option

Accessible Parking at Curaçao International Airport sits directly next to the terminal, so you roll a short distance from car to check-in instead of crossing long outdoor lots. Spaces are marked for disabled permit holders and positioned close to the terminal entrance, cutting down push time in the Curaçao heat.

This parking area works best for drivers dropping off or picking up passengers who use wheelchairs, walkers, or have limited mobility, because the walk/roll route is shorter than from the general lots. You stay on level ground almost the whole way, with no shuttle bus involved, which removes the stress of loading mobility aids onto vehicles.

Being next to the terminal also means quicker access to airport services like airline check-in counters and the departures hall, so you can move from car door to airline desk in just a few minutes. If you’re helping someone with baggage and medical equipment, that shorter distance matters more than shaving a few guilders off the daily rate in the remote lots.

The signed accessible bays sit in high-demand spots, so availability can drop during peak departures banks in the morning and late afternoon. Have your official disabled parking permit visible on the dashboard or hanging from the mirror before you pull into one of these spaces, as airport staff do patrol and may redirect cars without a permit to regular spots nearby.

Tip: Arrive 20–30 minutes earlier than you usually would, park in Accessible Parking first, and only switch to a regular space if every marked bay right next to the terminal is already taken.
