Gate-side burgers in Terminal 2
Sunset Boulevard sits airside in Terminal 2 at Copenhagen Airport, handy if you are flying SAS or another Schengen carrier from the T2 gates. It is a fast-food setup: order at the counter, grab a tray, and sit at the shared seating that spills into the concourse. Expect something closer to Danish McDonald’s pricing than city-center café pricing, with burgers and chicken sandwiches usually landing in the 80–120 DKK range depending on combos.
The menu sticks to basics: beef burgers, crispy chicken, a few wraps, and fries, plus sodas and milkshakes. You will also see kids’ meals listed with clear prices on overhead boards, which helps if you are managing a family sprint between two Schengen departures from Terminal 2. Portions run slightly larger than most airport grab-and-go sandwiches at CPH, and meals come out in about 5–10 minutes once you get through the ordering line.
Service runs throughout the main flight day in Terminal 2, typically from early morning departures around 06:00 through late evening waves closer to 22:00, though exact hours track the terminal schedule. Breakfast options lean on simple items like sausages, eggs in a bun, and coffee rather than full Danish smørrebrød. Prices on hot drinks sit a bit above what you would pay at the Landside Starbucks near Terminal 3, but still under the higher sit-down cafés in the non-Schengen section.
Watch out for peak queues around the 07:00–09:00 and 16:00–18:00 banks of SAS and Star Alliance flights, when lines can snake back toward the neighboring gates in Terminal 2. Seating turnover is quick, but it can be hard to find four seats together if two A320 departures are boarding nearby. Tip: if the main line looks long, check for the self-order screens near the side wall; at CPH Terminal 2 they often move faster and let you head straight to the pickup counter once you pay.
