Burger King

Whopper and fries before passport control in Terminal 2

Burger King sits landside in Terminal 2 at Copenhagen Airport, so you can eat here even if you’re just dropping someone off or before checking in. It’s a standard BK setup: counter service, self-order kiosks, and seating shared with the general T2 food court area.

The menu sticks to the usual Burger King lineup: Whopper meals, chicken sandwiches, plant-based options, nuggets, and kids’ meals. Expect Copenhagen airport pricing, so a Whopper meal runs higher than in the city, but still under typical full-service restaurant prices in CPH. Drinks come in fountain form with refills usually not offered, so size up if you’re thirsty.

Hours track with Terminal 2’s main bank of departures, opening early in the morning for 06:00 flights and staying open into the late evening. If you’re on a first wave SAS or Norwegian departure out of T2, you can grab a breakfast sandwich or hash browns here before security instead of relying on the smaller options airside.

Because it’s landside, Burger King draws airport staff, meeters-and-greeters, and passengers from both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 check-in areas. Lines spike around the 07:00–09:00 and 16:00–19:00 departure peaks. Service is generally quick, but mobile ordering through the Burger King app can shave a few minutes off during those rushes.

If you have a Schengen flight out of Terminal 3, factor in the 10–15 minute walk back plus security time before you sit down with a tray. For tight connections wholly inside the Schengen side, skip this and eat airside instead. Tip: grab napkins and sauces when you pick up your order; going back to the counter during a rush can take longer than you’d think.
