Caffè Ritazza

Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal 2

Caffè Ritazza in Terminal 2 sits airside in the Schengen area, so it mainly serves passengers on intra-Europe flights from CPH. It runs through the main departure hours, roughly early morning through late evening, and focuses on quick coffee, pastries, and simple snacks rather than full meals. Expect standing counters and small tables instead of a long sit-down service.

Espresso, americanos, and lattes sit in the 30–45 DKK range, in line with most Copenhagen Airport cafés in Terminals 2 and 3. Filter coffee is usually the cheapest option if you just want a quick caffeine hit before boarding. Milk alternatives typically cost a few extra kroner, and takeaway cups are standard since most people drink on the walk to the gate.

Food runs toward pre-made sandwiches, croissants, and cakes, with items generally around 35–70 DKK. If you need something light before a short hop to another Nordic or Schengen destination, a sandwich plus coffee will run you about 80–100 DKK total. Hot food is limited, so if you want a proper meal, you’re better off walking the few minutes toward the larger food spots also in Terminal 2.

Being inside Terminal 2’s secure area means it mainly serves passengers flying SAS and other European carriers from that side of the airport. That makes it handy if your gate is in the mid-20s to 30s and you don’t have time to backtrack toward the central food court between Terminals 2 and 3. Lines spike in the 06:00–09:00 bank when most morning departures leave.

Tip: If your flight leaves from a remote gate in Terminal 2, grab your drink here about 30 minutes before boarding and then head straight to the bus gate; options near those gates are thinner and often more crowded.
