Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal 3

Right in Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 3, Espresso House covers the basics for a quick coffee stop before SAS and other European departures. It’s landside and airside in this terminal, so check the nearest location on the monitors before you commit. Expect standard Scandinavian coffee-bar pricing: around 40–55 DKK for espresso drinks and 30–40 DKK for filter coffee.

The menu runs through the usual lineup: espresso, cappuccino, latte, iced coffee, plus a few seasonal drinks that change every couple of months. Bakery items sit in the glass case by the register, with croissants, muffins, and sandwiches generally in the 35–70 DKK range. If you want something more substantial than a pastry, look for the premade sandwiches with clear labels showing allergens and ingredients in both Danish and English.

Seating varies by location inside Terminal 3: some spots have a handful of tables and power outlets, others are more grab-and-go with only a ledge and a couple of stools. Turnover is quick during the 06:00–09:00 morning rush as flights to London, Paris, and other hubs push lines to 10–15 minutes. Later in the afternoon, queues usually drop to under 5 minutes, especially outside the main SAS check-in area.

Quality is chain-standard: milk drinks are consistent, filter coffee can sit a bit if you hit a lull between peaks, and oat milk is normally available alongside standard dairy options. You order and pay at the counter, grab your drink when they call your name, and bins for sorting recycling and trash sit by the exit. Card payments dominate here, but contactless mobile wallets also work without issues.

Tip: if your time in Terminal 3 is under 15 minutes before boarding starts, grab a basic filter coffee instead of a latte; it comes out in under 2 minutes and you won’t risk cutting it close at the gate.
