Near the T1 gates, Snack Casa fills a basic gap
Right in Terminal T1 after security, Snack Casa is the grab-and-go option when you don’t have time to leave the concourse at Mohammed V International Airport. It runs on airport hours tied to departures, so you’ll usually find it open from early morning check-in waves through late-night flights. Expect a simple counter setup, shared seating in the public seating area, and quick turnover between passengers boarding out of T1.
Prices sit in the typical CMN airport range: think around 20–30 MAD for soft drinks, 40–70 MAD for sandwiches or pastries, and coffee in the 20–30 MAD band. The menu leans on basics you can eat at the gate: packaged snacks, bottled water, sodas, and reheated items. It’s fine for a last snack before a Royal Air Maroc short-haul departure from T1, but not a place to plan a long meal.
Food quality tracks with the pricing and setup: acceptable if you’re hungry, forgettable if you’re not. Expect pre-made sandwiches rather than made-to-order plates, pastries that may have been sitting for a while during slower parts of the day, and standard Nespresso-style or machine coffee. If you’re deciding between here and a sit-down option elsewhere in the airport, keep in mind you’d need extra time to walk to T2 and then back through the T1 corridors to your gate.
One upside is location: Snack Casa keeps you within a few minutes of most T1 boarding gates, which matters if your boarding pass shows a tight 30–40 minute gap between security and departure. You can grab a bottle of water for under 30 MAD, a pastry or sandwich, and still stay in sight of the information screens. Tip: buy drinks and snacks here before heading to a remote bus gate in T1, where options shrink fast and prices can creep up at smaller kiosks.
