Right in Terminal 2, Café de Paris is one of the main sit-down options before international departures out of CMN’s T2.
This is a basic airport café setup inside T2, past security, with counter service and small two-top tables. You’ll see standard café fare: espresso, cappuccino, tea, soft drinks, pastries, and simple sandwiches. Expect prices a bit above downtown Casablanca; think airport markup on every coffee and croissant. It works for a quick bite within 15–20 minutes of boarding, not a long, lingering meal.
Food runs to croissants, pain au chocolat, basic cakes, and pre-made sandwiches; you’ll usually find options with cheese, turkey, or tuna in the display case. Coffee comes from an automatic machine, but an espresso or café au lait still beats boarding a 3–4 hour flight hungry. Don’t come looking for tagines or full hot plates here; it’s more of a snack-and-coffee stop than a proper restaurant.
Seating is open to the concourse, so you’re looking directly at T2 traffic and hearing boarding calls from nearby gates. That’s actually useful: you can keep an eye on your gate on the main departures screen a few meters away while you finish your drink. Power outlets are limited, so charge your phone at the gate rather than banking on finding a free plug at a table here.
Figure on paying in Moroccan dirhams, with card acceptance typical for CMN’s T2 concessions; have a backup card or some cash in case one terminal is down. Don’t cut it too close to boarding, as lines can form when two or three wide-body flights out of T2 leave within 30–45 minutes of each other. Practical move: order a bottled water with your coffee and take it to the gate so you’re set for the first hour in the air.
