Segafredo

T1

Gate-side caffeine fix in T1 before regional departures

Right in Terminal T1, Segafredo is the straightforward coffee stop when you want something familiar inside Mohammed V International. It sits airside, so this is an option only after security in T1, not from T2. Think classic Italian-style espresso bar rather than a sit-down restaurant: order at the counter, grab a small table, and keep an eye on your boarding time on the nearby gate screens.

Segafredo runs through the main flight banks in T1, opening early enough for morning departures and staying open into the evening rush when the European and North African flights cluster. Prices land in typical airport territory: expect espresso and Americanos in the €3–€4 range and basic pastries a bit higher than in Casablanca city cafés. Card payments are widely accepted, but it’s still smart to have a few Moroccan dirhams ready in case their terminal glitches.

The menu leans heavily on coffee: straight espresso, cappuccino, latte, and macchiato built around Segafredo’s own beans. You’ll usually find croissants, simple sandwiches, and a few sweets in the display case; they do the job for a light bite but this is not a full-meal stop. If you care more about caffeine than food, stick to the hot coffee drinks rather than pre-made juices or sodas you can grab cheaper from other T1 kiosks.

Seating is limited and sits directly off the T1 concourse, so expect noise and foot traffic from nearby gates and duty-free. Power outlets are hit-or-miss along the counter, and Wi‑Fi reliability depends on the general airport network, not the café itself. Tip: order and pay in one go, then take your cup to a quieter gate area in T1 if you want to make calls or work for 20–30 minutes before boarding.
