Right in CMN Terminal 2, Le Patio is the main sit-down option
Le Patio sits airside in Terminal 2 at Mohammed V International Airport, so you’re covered for a proper meal after security on most Royal Air Maroc departures. It functions as a full-service restaurant and café, and it’s one of the few places in T2 where you can linger at a table instead of hovering at a takeaway counter near your gate.
Expect a mix of Moroccan and international dishes here, with tagines and grilled meats usually priced in the MAD 90–150 range and simple snacks and sandwiches coming in closer to MAD 50–80. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks typically land around MAD 20–35, which is only slightly higher than downtown Casablanca cafés but standard for an airport restaurant in T2.
Service runs most of the day in line with Terminal 2’s long-haul bank, so you’ll usually find Le Patio open from early morning check-in waves through late-night transatlantic departures. If you have a 2–3 hour layover on a Royal Air Maroc flight in T2, this is one of the few realistic places to sit, eat, and still keep an eye on the departure screens.
Portions on hot mains are reported as generous enough that one tagine can work for two lighter appetites, especially if you add a shared salad in the MAD 40–60 range. If you just need a quick bite between a Schengen-area arrival and an African regional departure out of T2, a sandwich and a coffee will usually keep the bill under MAD 100.
Payment is straightforward: Le Patio accepts credit cards alongside Moroccan dirhams, which helps if you’ve just landed and haven’t used an ATM in T2 yet. If your layover is short, order drinks and sandwiches instead of full hot dishes; they tend to come out faster and keep you closer to a 45–60 minute turnaround from sit-down to gate.
