Food Court

T1

Gate-side option in T1 when you just need calories

The Food Court in Terminal T1 sits airside after security, so you can eat without backtracking to passport control or check-in. It’s a basic setup: multiple counters sharing common seating, all a short walk from most T1 gates used by Royal Air Maroc and partner airlines. Think of it as a last-stop refuel before boarding, not a destination meal.

Pricing at the Food Court feels airport-standard for Casablanca: expect roughly 60–120 MAD for sandwiches, burgers, or simple hot dishes, and 20–40 MAD for bottled drinks or coffee. Portions tend to run small-to-medium, so budget a bit more if you’re genuinely hungry before a medium- or long-haul flight. Cards usually work, but have some cash in case a terminal is down.

Hours generally track the main T1 departure bank, with most counters open from early morning (around 05:00) through late-night departures after 22:00. That covers the bulk of Royal Air Maroc’s European and African routes from T1, but late irregular ops can catch you with a reduced food offer. If you have a 02:00 or 03:00 departure, don’t assume every stall will be staffed.

Food here leans generic: think international fast-food style rather than specific Moroccan regional dishes. Expect items like fries, burgers, simple salads, and pre-made pastries, more geared to quick turnover than long sit-down meals. If you care about quality tajine or grilled fish, eat in Casablanca before heading to the airport, then use T1’s Food Court for a light top-up only.

Lines spike around the 1–2 hours before the big departure waves to Europe and West Africa from T1, so build in at least 20 extra minutes if you’re eyeing hot food instead of packaged snacks. Tip: check the shortest queue among the different counters first, then grab a drink from whichever one looks quietest to avoid wasting time in two separate lines.
