Terminal 2 at CEB has a VIP lounge almost no one mentions.

Terminal 2 at Mactan Cebu is full of talk about the Plaza Premium Lounge, but this separate VIP lounge barely shows up in trip reports or lounge lists. Access is strictly invitation only, tied to specific airlines, companies, or airport arrangements, and you can't buy a day pass at the desk. If your boarding pass or escort gets you in, that invite usually comes through your airline in T2 rather than any public program like Priority Pass.

The lounge sits airside in Terminal 2, used for international flights, and you need a same-day T2 boarding pass and an escort or invitation to reach it. Unlike Plaza Premium, which sits near the main international gate cluster, this one often runs off the radar of regular CEB flyers and doesn't appear in most public lounge maps. If your airline mentions an "invite-only" or "VIP" room at check-in for T2 flights, this is likely what they mean.

Opening hours appear to track the long-haul and regional bank in Terminal 2, roughly aligning with late-night and early-morning departures to hubs like HKG and ICN. Because it is not advertised on the airport’s public site, hours can shift with airline schedules and may not match the 24-hour pattern some expect from bigger hub lounges. If you have a 02:00 international departure from T2, ask at check-in if your invite is valid for that specific flight time.

Food, drinks, and seating details are not published, and frequent-flyer forums like FlyerTalk mainly point people to Plaza Premium as the standard option for T2 international departures. That lack of chatter usually means access is limited to small groups such as VIP delegations, airline top-tier invite lists, or corporate contracts. If you hold only a general lounge membership card or credit-card access, expect to be directed to Plaza Premium instead of this invitation-only setup.

Practical tip: at check-in in Terminal 2, ask the agent directly, "Is there an invitation-only VIP lounge for this flight?" If they say no, head straight to the Plaza Premium Lounge in T2 and don't burn extra time hunting for a room that, for most passengers, might as well not exist.
