Terminal 1’s only pay-per-use option beyond Plaza Premium

In Mactan Cebu Terminal 1, this independent lounge sits in the same domestic terminal as the Plaza Premium Lounge but operates outside the big lounge networks. Access is pay-per-use only, so no Priority Pass, DragonPass, or airline status shortcuts here. That alone makes it more of a backup plan than a destination, especially on short domestic hops where a paid visit rarely makes sense.

Precise hours aren’t well published the way Plaza Premium’s 05:00–22:00 schedule is, and the space doesn’t show up in most major lounge directories. Treat it as locally run and potentially variable: staff may align opening times with the first and last wave of domestic departures in Terminal 1. If you’re on a late-night or very early flight, have a Plan B in the public departure hall in case the doors stay shut.

Pricing is also lightly documented, but comparable independent lounges in the Philippines usually charge around PHP 1,200–1,800 for a 3-hour stay, sometimes with a 50% child rate. Expect basic soft drinks, coffee from a machine rather than a proper barista setup, and simple hot food similar to what you’d see in a small airport café. Alcohol, if offered, likely runs by the bottle or small glass with airport markups, not as free-flow.

Because there are no solid reports on Wi‑Fi speed, shower quality, or crowd levels, assume bare‑bones rather than premium. If you need to work, have a Globe or Smart data plan ready as backup in case the lounge network crawls below 5 Mbps. Power outlets in older Philippine lounges often mean a mix of two-prong Type A/B and Type C, so carry a compact adapter instead of relying on a single USB port per seat.

Post-security, Terminal 1 is small enough that you can walk from the central security checkpoint to most domestic gates in under 7–8 minutes. That makes it easy to bail out if this independent lounge looks packed or dark and walk over to check pricing and capacity at Plaza Premium instead. One practical tip: ask at the door to see the buffet and seating before you pay, and only hand over cash or card once you’re sure it beats sitting by your actual gate.
