Tiffins sits airside in Terminal T2 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, handy if your flight leaves from the newer international side. It’s a basic counter-service setup, so think short stops between security and your gate, not a long sit-down meal. You’ll usually spot it during the walk from security toward the main T2 gate cluster.

The menu leans Indian fast food: expect dosa-style items, idli, and simple snacks alongside tea and coffee. Portion sizes tend to suit a light meal rather than a full feast, useful if boarding is in under 45 minutes. Prices sit in typical airport territory, higher than city stalls but reasonable for inside CCU T2.

Turnaround time is usually quick; most dishes are prepped on a hotplate and handed over within about 10–15 minutes of ordering. That works if your gate is within a 5–7 minute walk. If you’re on a tight connection through T2, grab something ready-made from the case instead of waiting for fresh items off the griddle.

There’s limited seating right by the counter, and chairs fill quickly at busy evening departure banks after about 18:00. You can always take your tray to nearby public seating closer to the gates if every table is already taken. Expect shared tables and a bit of foot traffic as people cut through toward boarding.

Payment is standard for CCU: major cards, UPI, and cash in rupees all work, which helps if you’re burning off your last ₹200–₹300 before leaving India. Don’t expect alcohol; this is more tea-and-snacks than bar.
