Bucket meals before boarding in CCU’s T2

This KFC sits airside in Terminal T2 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, so you’re fine coming here after security on domestic or international departures from this terminal. Signage in T2 is clear; if you hit the main food court cluster, you’re close. Figure 5–10 minutes to grab food and walk back to most T2 gates.

Menu is the standard KFC India line-up: hot & crispy chicken, rice bowls, burgers, wraps, fries, and Krushers or soft drinks. Expect combo meals in the ₹250–₹450 range and larger buckets running higher if you’re feeding two or three people. Vegetarian options exist but are limited compared with the chicken-heavy side of the board, so check the screens instead of assuming.

Food quality tracks with a typical city KFC in Kolkata: fresh enough turnover thanks to constant passenger flow in T2, but don’t expect piping hot perfection during the late-night lulls after about 23:00. Peak rush hits roughly 18:00–21:00 when evening departures stack up, so plan on a 10–15 minute wait from order to pickup during those hours, slightly less at midday.

Seating runs along the shared T2 food court area rather than being a fully walled-in restaurant, so you may end up carrying your ₹299 box meal back toward your gate if every table is taken. Portions are predictable, which helps if you’re trying not to overeat before a 2–3 hour flight from Kolkata to Delhi, Mumbai, or further.

One practical tip: order a shared bucket or box (around ₹600–₹800) if you’re traveling with one or two others in T2, then split it — it’s faster to manage a single tray when boarding calls start popping on the screens near your gate.
