P3 Parking Lot is the designated long-stay option near Terminal T1 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), set up for trips that run several days or more. It’s an open-air surface lot, so no height restrictions like you’ll see in some garages. Signage around T1 points you to P3 directly, and the entry gates use standard ticket machines and QR payment accepted across Guangzhou.
This lot is priced below the short-term areas right beside T1, so P3 makes more sense if your car stays longer than 24 hours. Rates run on a daily cap rather than purely hourly, which keeps multi-day parking from getting out of hand. Payment machines accept major bank cards and local mobile wallets like WeChat Pay and Alipay, so you don’t have to hunt for cash on the way out.
P3 mainly serves Terminal T1 passengers, but you can still reach T2 and T3 by the airport’s internal shuttle network or the public transport links between terminals. Built-in walking paths connect P3 to the T1 building; plan roughly 10–15 minutes on foot if you’re parked deep in the lot. If you’re catching an early-morning departure, factor that walk plus standard CAN security timing into your schedule.
Lighting runs across the lanes at night, and cameras cover the main entrances and exits of P3, similar to the other official airport lots at CAN. That said, it’s still a standard surface lot, not a premium monitored facility. One practical tip: take a quick photo of your row marker and a nearby sign showing “P3” before you roll your luggage away; this lot is large enough that finding your car again after a long trip can easily add 10 extra minutes if you don’t remember your section.
