Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Terminal 2, south side of the main building, with P6 (East Parking Lot), P7 (West Parking Lot), and P8 (A and B Parking Garages)

Five levels of covered parking directly beside Terminal 2

The New Terminal 2 Parking Garage sits right next to T2 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, so you walk a few minutes from your car to the departures hall. It’s a multi-level, covered structure, which helps in Guangzhou’s summer heat and heavy rain. Elevators and ramps connect each level to the terminal-side exits, so you’re not dragging bags through outdoor lots.

This garage mainly serves flights from Terminal 2, including China Southern and several SkyTeam partners. If your boarding pass shows T2, this is the straightforward choice because you stay within the same terminal zone the entire time. Drivers dropping off or picking up passengers on T2 can also use the garage for short stays when the curb lanes are crowded.

Hourly and daily rates are posted at the entrance gates in RMB, so you see the cost before you take a ticket. Payment machines near the pedestrian exits accept Chinese bank cards and popular mobile apps, and there’s at least one staffed booth at ground level during core flight banks. Keep your ticket dry; the machines require a clean barcode scan for exit.

Vehicle height limits apply at the entry barrier, and larger vans or minibuses may need to use one of the surface lots serving T1 or T3 instead. If you’re renting a car, check with the rental counter in T2; some agencies pre-park vehicles in this specific garage and give you detailed bay numbers at pickup.

Tip: Snap a photo of your level and row before heading to check-in in T2; the uniform concrete layout makes it easy to forget your exact parking spot after a long-haul flight back into Guangzhou.
