P2 Parking Lot is a short-stay car park positioned by Terminal T1 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), so it suits drop-offs, quick pickups, and same-day trips. You park in an open-air structure that’s easy to spot when you drive along the access road toward T1 departure levels. Use P2 if your flight goes from Terminal 1 and you don’t plan to leave the car overnight.

This is a standard short-stay option with higher hourly tariffs than the long-term lots that sit farther from the terminal, and pricing is posted at the P2 entrance gate in RMB. Payment usually runs through the same automated ticket machines used across CAN’s other official car parks, taking bank cards and local mobile payments like WeChat Pay and Alipay. Keep your entry ticket handy; you’ll need it to calculate the final fee at exit.

P2 is within walking distance of T1 check-in counters, so you avoid shuttle buses and can roll bags straight from your car to the terminal doors in a few minutes. If you’re meeting someone on an arriving flight into T1, you can park in P2, walk to the arrivals hall, and be back to your car without waiting for airport transport. For T2 and T3 flights, factor in extra time to move between terminals using the official airport links.

Because P2 is short-stay, staff may limit how long vehicles can remain parked compared with the remote long-term areas on the outer ring roads of CAN. If your trip runs more than a couple of days, compare the posted daily maximum at P2 with the long-term daily rate signs before taking a ticket.
