Gate-side last-minute gear in Terminal 2

About halfway down Terminal 2, Travel Shop Belize fills the gap between pure souvenirs and basic travel gear. You’ll see it on the airside concourse after security, an easy stop if your flight boards from any of the international gates in this terminal. Stock skews touristy, but it still saves a walk back to landside if you forgot something.

Prices run higher than Belize City supermarkets, roughly airport-plus: think US$3–4 for snacks that sit under US$2 in town, and T‑shirts in the US$15–25 range depending on print and size. You’ll find the usual mix of logo shirts, caps, keychains, magnets, and a small rack of bags that work as under‑seat carry‑ons if your airline out of BZE is strict about overhead space.

Hours aren’t posted cleanly online, but shops in Terminal 2 generally open before the first northbound departures around 6:00 am and start closing after the evening bank of flights around 6:00–7:00 pm. Count on Travel Shop Belize for daytime coverage, but don’t bank on it if you land on a late Tropic or Maya Island Air connection and connect to a night departure.

Use this place as a backup: grab a fridge magnet with “Belize” on it, a quick gift under US$10, or a small duffel if your checked bag came back overweight at the counter. Tip: stop here right after security in Terminal 2, before you sit down at the gate; lines spike during the 30 minutes before the US‑bound flights board.
