Gate-side liquor deals in Terminal 2

Terminal 2’s Atlantic Duty Free sits airside after security, just past the international departure gates, so you hit it on the way to nearly every outbound flight. It’s the main stop in BZE for last‑minute rum and perfume before boarding.

Spirits dominate the shelves here: Caribbean rums, tequila, whisky, and a few mid-shelf vodkas, usually priced better than downtown Belize City once you factor in the duty-free break. Expect standard 750 ml bottles and some 1 L options, plus the usual cartons of cigarettes behind the counter.

The store also carries chocolates, basic souvenirs with “Belize” on them, and a small rack of travel needs like plug adapters and neck pillows. Think under 10 minutes to walk the whole shop, compare a couple of rum labels, and still make it to any Terminal 2 gate with time to spare.

Selection skews toward major global brands rather than rare bottles, so this is more about stocking up than curating a collection. Staff ring you up in Belize dollars or US dollars, and receipts clearly show duty-free savings for customs on arrival.

Tip: Buy liquids here instead of downtown if you have a connection, since purchases are packed in a sealed duty-free bag that usually passes transit security more easily than random store bottles in your carry-on.
