Big Mac in T1
Right in Terminal T1, McDonald’s is the predictable stop when you just want fries and a Big Mac before boarding. It sits airside after security, so you can walk from most domestic gates in under 5 minutes and still have time to eat at the table instead of at the gate chair.
Expect the standard Brazil McDonald’s menu: Big Mac, Quarterão, Cheddar McMelt, McChicken, plus local items that rotate in and out. Combos usually land in the R$30–R$45 range, which is mid-pack for Brasília airport pricing and often cheaper than the full-service sit-down spots nearby.
Service here runs on airport speed: usually fast, sometimes backed up when multiple flights out of T1 board at the same time. Lines can stretch to 10–15 minutes around early morning departures and evening peaks, but food still tends to hit the tray in under 5 minutes once you’ve ordered.
Standard McDonald’s drinks are here too: soft drinks with free ice refills only on the same visit, sundaes, McFlurry, and basic coffee. If you just want something quick, a cheeseburger or small fries can still come in under R$20, making this one of the cheaper snack options between T1 gates.
Seating is limited and often shared spillover with the public seating area right by the gate corridor. If every table is occupied, you can usually carry your tray 30–40 meters and find a spot near your boarding gate without an issue.
Tip: Mobile ordering sometimes works faster than the main counter during rush hours, so check the McDonald’s app while you’re still 3–4 gates away and pick up when your number hits the screen.
