Bob’s

T1

Near the main gates in T1, Bob’s covers the basics fast.

Bob’s sits airside in Terminal 1 and feels like the default quick-stop burger joint for BSB. It’s a straight shot for something familiar: burgers, fries, hot dogs, shakes, and soft drinks at chain-standard prices, usually in the R$20–40 range for a combo. Expect counter service, a short wait, and trays you bus yourself.

The menu sticks to classics: cheese burgers, the Big Bob double-style burger, chicken options, plus sides like fries and onion rings. Shakes and milkshakes are a thing here, with several flavors and sizes, and you’ll see locals grabbing sundaes even on morning flights. Portion sizes run smaller than US fast food, so if you’re hungry before a 3–4 hour flight, go for a combo with an extra side.

Hours match the Terminal 1 bank of flights, usually early morning through late evening, but it can close before the last red-eye departures, especially after 23:00, so don’t count on it for midnight snacks. Seating is shared with the surrounding food court, so you’re often within sight of several T1 gates, which helps if your boarding time hits in 20–30 minutes.

Order the standard beef burgers or hot dogs; they’re consistent with other Bob’s locations around Brazil. Fried items hold up better fresh, so ask if a new batch of fries is coming out if the ones in the bin look tired. If your layover is under 40 minutes, skip the milkshake and stick to fountain drinks; shakes can slow down the line when the blender queue stacks up.

Tip: check your gate in T1 before you pay; a move from a low-number to a high-number gate can add a 5–10 minute walk, and Bob’s doesn’t move fast enough for a true last-call grab-and-go.
