Gate-side sugar fix in T1

Kopenhagen in Terminal T1 is the airport branch of Brazil’s classic chocolate brand, so this is where you grab truffles and tablets instead of another generic candy bar. It sits post-security, an easy stop if you’re flying Azul or LATAM out of T1 and want something better than duty-free bulk sweets.

Prices run higher than supermarket Kopenhagen: expect individual chocolates in the R$5–R$10 range and boxed assortments climbing past R$50. That said, it’s still a quick tap-and-go purchase, and most people are in and out in under 5 minutes, even when there’s a short queue before evening departures.

The play here is gifting and upgrades to your in-flight snack. Grab a small assorted box or classic milk chocolate tablets for long-haul connections through Brasília. If you like stronger flavors, look for darker bars labeled 70% or higher cacao on the shelf, usually stacked at eye level behind the counter.

There’s no seating and no coffee machine at this T1 unit, so treat it strictly as a retail stop. Staff usually pre-pack popular assortments in medium boxes stacked by the register, which makes it easier if you’re boarding in 20–30 minutes and don’t want to pick individual pieces.

Payment is standard for the airport: cards and contactless are accepted, and receipts print in Brazilian reais. Since this is inside T1’s secure area, you can only shop here after clearing security for Brasília departures, not on landside arrival.

Tip: If your boarding time is within 10 minutes, skip the custom mix and grab one of the ready-made gift boxes by the till; you’ll make it to your T1 gate without a last-minute sprint.
