Two-Wheeler Parking

motorbike area

Hourly motorbike parking right at Mumbai Airport

Two-Wheeler Parking at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) is the dedicated motorbike area serving Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, aimed at short and medium stays. This is for motorcycles and scooters only, not cars or autorickshaws, so you skip the mixed-vehicle chaos of the main multi-level car parks.

The motorbike area sits in the domestic and international landside parking zones near T1 and T2, before security, so you park first and then walk to check-in. Look for the airport parking signage that specifically calls out “Two-Wheeler Parking” rather than “Car Park” to avoid being waved out of the queue by attendants.

Rates typically run much lower than the 4-wheeler tariffs published for BOM, making it the budget option if you commute by scooter or bike. You usually pay on exit at the manned booth or automated machine, so keep your ticket handy and don’t lose it unless you want a long argument and a manual lookup of your entry time.

Lighting in the two-wheeler zones around T1 and T2 is functional but basic, so take a quick phone photo of your row and any nearby pole number when you park at night. Helmet storage is on you; most riders lock helmets to the bike or carry them into the terminal rather than leaving them loose on the seat.

Tip: aim to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier than your usual drop-off, since Two-Wheeler Parking sits in the same access roads as taxi and app-cab traffic and queues can build quickly at BOM during evening bank times around 21:00–01:00.
