Terminal 1 Parking

T1 surface lot

5-minute walk from T1 check-in

Terminal 1 Parking sits directly in front of Mumbai’s domestic Terminal 1, so you’re usually at the check-in hall in 3–5 minutes on foot. This is a surface lot, not multi-level, so finding your car after a late-night IndiGo or Akasa flight is straightforward: look for the section markers lined up with the T1 entrance doors.

The lot operates 24/7 alongside T1’s early-morning and late-night bank of flights. You pay on exit at the official counters near the pedestrian exit toward the terminal. Short stays of under 30 minutes cost less than a full hour, and pricing then steps up by the hour, with separate slabs for day parking. Check the current rate boards near the payment kiosks before you pull a ticket.

Access is via the T1 approach road off the Western Express Highway, with clear “Terminal 1 Parking” signs as you near the airport. Entry uses a ticket barrier; keep the printed ticket handy, as you’ll need it both at the pay counter and the exit gate. Taxis and app cabs drop on the separate departures lane, so if you’re switching from car to cab, factor in a 2–3 minute walk between the lot and the pick-up area.

Security staff patrol the rows and CCTV covers the main lanes, but this is still outdoor parking in Mumbai heat and monsoon. Avoid leaving electronics or bags visible on seats. If you’re parking for more than 24 hours, aim for a spot away from trees to dodge sap and bird droppings, and take a quick photo of the nearest lamp-post number.

Tip: morning departures between 05:00 and 08:00 push cars into every row; add 15 minutes to your schedule to find a bay and pay on exit without stress.
