On a 40-minute turn in BLR T2, this is the easy button
The McDonald’s in Terminal T2 sits airside in the departures zone, and that’s the appeal: you clear security, walk a few minutes toward the gates, and you’re looking at a menu you already know. For tight domestic or international connections in T2, it becomes the default stop when you don’t want to gamble on unfamiliar dishes or wait times.
Pricing runs in typical Indian-airport fast food territory: burgers usually sit in the ₹150–₹300 range, with meals and combos climbing higher, especially if you add fries and a drink. Compared with some of the more premium café setups in T2, a basic McAloo Tikki or Chicken McGrill keeps the bill lower, and you still get a receipt you can scan quickly and toss before boarding.
Menu standards mirror most Indian outlets: expect items like the McAloo Tikki, McSpicy Paneer, Chicken Maharaja Mac, fries, and soft drinks, with occasional seasonal specials. Vegetarian options are easier to manage here than at some global chains in BLR, and if you’re flying with kids or picky eaters, you can stay in safe territory with fries and a plain burger without hunting around the terminal.
Service pace varies with the bank of departures from T2, but the line usually moves faster than made-to-order restaurants nearby, especially at meal peaks around 8–10 a.m., 1–3 p.m., and 8–11 p.m. Seating can be tight during those banks, so be ready to carry your tray a few gates down if every table is taken near the counter.
Tip: if your boarding pass shows a gate toward the far end of T2, grab your order here, then walk to the gate before you eat; BLR’s long piers can easily add an extra 8–10 minutes of walking you didn’t plan for.
