Power outlets and tables first, espresso second

In Kempegowda’s T2, Barista ends up functioning as overflow office space more than a coffee shrine. It sits airside in Terminal 2, so you’re already past security and within a 5–10 minute walk of most domestic gates. If every gate seat near your flight is taken, this is where people drift for a chair, a plug, and a latte that’s good enough.

Order is standard Barista: hot coffees, cold frappes, and a handful of snacks typically priced in the ₹200–₹450 range. Expect the usual cappuccino, café mocha, and espresso shots rather than any single-origin showcase. Food is mostly ready-made sandwiches, puffs, and pastries kept in the counter display, which works for a 15-minute refuel before boarding from T2’s bus gates.

Seating runs to small café tables and a few counter spots, and many passengers park with a laptop for an hour between connections. Power outlets are scattered along the walls and near some two-top tables, so if you see an open socket, grab it before ordering. Wi‑Fi relies on the main Kempegowda airport network, which usually handles video calls fine, but have a hotspot ready if you’re on a tight deadline.

Barista in T2 typically opens from early-morning bank times through late-night departures, roughly matching the 24-hour traffic pattern of Bengaluru domestic and international flights. If you land on a red-eye into T2 around 02:00 or 03:00, this is often one of the few spots still handing over hot coffee and a muffin. Lines spike right before the big morning waves around 06:00–08:00, so factor in 10–15 minutes if your boarding time is close.

Tip: walk the length of the Barista seating once before committing; outlets cluster at the far ends, and moving later with a tray and carry-on is more annoying than just spending 30 extra seconds scouting first.
