Fast veg snacks and sweets before domestic T2 flights

Haldiram's in Terminal T2 leans hard into familiar vegetarian North-Indian snacks and packaged sweets, which is exactly what a lot of domestic and regional flyers in Bengaluru want before boarding. You’ll see the bright red Haldiram’s branding as you move through the main food court area of T2, post-security, with a counter setup that works for both quick bites and takeaway.

This T2 outlet focuses on vegetarian North-Indian staples: think chole bhature, rajma chawal, samosas, pav bhaji, and chaats. Expect single dishes and combo plates in the ₹200–₹450 band, which is midrange for Kempegowda pricing. If you’re short on time before an IndiGo or Vistara domestic departure, the chaats and samosas usually come out quickest compared with full thali-style meals.

Packaged sweets and savoury snacks line the shelves, just like a city-side Haldiram’s shop, with gift boxes of rasgulla, soan papdi, and assorted namkeens in the ₹150–₹600 range. That makes this one of the easiest spots in T2 to grab recognisable mithai for relatives in Delhi, Mumbai, or Hyderabad, or to carry as an onboard snack on 90–120 minute regional hops.

Seating is typical airport food-court style with shared tables and plastic chairs, and at peak evening domestic banks (around 18:00–22:00) it fills up fast. Food comes on trays with disposable plates; expect a 10–20 minute wait for cooked items like chole bhature, and closer to 5–10 minutes for chaats. Spice levels skew to standard North-Indian, so not as fiery as some Bengaluru street-side options but far from bland.

Card and UPI payments are accepted at the counter, and prices include GST, which keeps checkout simple when you’re trying to get back to a T2 C or D gate. If your boarding pass shows a gate at the far end of the piers, start walking with your packed snacks; eat at the gate instead of guarding a table in the food court.
