Workeat

T1 landside food court spot with quick meals and power outlets

On the public side of T1 at Bergamo (pre-security), Workeat sits in the main departures hall and doubles as both a café and quick lunch stop. You can grab something here even if you are just dropping someone off and not flying. It’s open throughout the daytime flight bank, roughly from early morning into the evening, matching the first and last departures on the board.

Workeat runs a straightforward counter-service setup with sandwiches, salads, and hot dishes typically in the €6–€12 range, plus espresso, soft drinks, and bottled water. Expect classic Italian bar basics: panini, pastries, and a few pasta or hot plate options that rotate. Portions lean toward light to medium, so think refuel before security, not a drawn-out, multi-course meal.

Seating is standard airport food court style, with tables close to the counter and a decent number of chairs compared with some smaller BGY kiosks. Many tables near the wall have power outlets, which helps if you need to top up a laptop before heading through security to T1’s gates. Turnover is fast during the morning Ryanair rush, but you can usually find a seat if you’re willing to sit a bit farther from the counter.

Coffee is in the normal Italian airport bar price band, about €1.30–€1.60 for an espresso and a bit more for cappuccino. For food, the value play is one of the set combinations, like a sandwich plus drink bundle that undercuts buying items separately by a euro or two. Keep an eye on prepared items that have clearly sat a while; freshly made panini or anything heated to order tends to be a safer bet.

Tip: if your check-in desk opens less than 90 minutes before departure, eat at Workeat first, then head to the counters and security in one go, instead of queuing, exiting, and trying to find food airside later.
