Parking VIP T1

VIP valet parking

Drop your car at T1 and hand over the keys

Parking VIP T1 sits directly at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport’s Terminal 1, so you drive straight to the departures area instead of following signs to the multi-storey garages. This is a true valet service: you meet the staff curbside at T1, hand over your keys, and they park the car for you in their secured facility while you head to check-in.

This is a VIP valet option, not self-park, so plan on a short handover at T1 departures before your flight and a quick pickup on arrival back at T1. Compared with walking from the official T1 long‑stay lot, you can easily save 10–15 minutes each way, especially at peak times when the T1 car parks and access roads get busy.

Pricing usually comes as a per‑day rate, which tends to make most sense from around 3–4 days of travel and up; very short one‑night trips may still be cheaper in regular T1 parking. Bookings are typically made in advance online with your exact flight number and arrival time at T1 so the valet team can meet you at the agreed drop-off point outside departures.

The service only covers Terminal 1, not T2, so double‑check your airline and ticket: Vueling and most oneworld and SkyTeam carriers use T1, while many low‑cost and regional flights still run from T2. If you accidentally book VIP T1 while flying from T2, you’ll end up needing extra time and a terminal transfer.

Practical tip: put your return flight number and scheduled landing time into the booking form, then call the valet number as soon as you collect bags at T1 so your car is waiting near the arrivals curb instead of you waiting 10 minutes for them.
