Parking Larga Estancia

Long-stay parking

Daily rates here usually undercut the terminal garages for week-long trips

Parking Larga Estancia is the official long-stay car park for Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, set up for trips of 3 to 15 days or more. It sits outside the main T1 and T2 complex, so you don’t walk to the terminal; you ride the shuttle. Online bookings often price lower than the P1 and T2 garages for anything over 72 hours, and spaces are in an open-air, fenced lot rather than a multi‑storey structure.

The car park runs a dedicated shuttle that links directly to both T1 and T2. Typical ride time is around 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic and which terminal you hit first. Count another 5 minutes to load bags, so build in at least 20 minutes from parking your car to reaching check‑in. Shuttles are included in the parking price, so there’s no extra ticket to buy once you’ve left the car.

Access is straightforward from the C‑31 and C‑32: follow the blue airport signs, then the specific “Larga Estancia” signs once you’re near the terminals. The entrance uses a barrier system with a ticket or QR code from your online reservation. Spaces are standard-size open bays, so larger cars and SUVs fit more easily here than in the tighter terminal garages. Lighting covers the lanes at night, and perimeter fencing surrounds the lot.

Watch your timing on return. You’ll wait at the T1 or T2 shuttle stop for the same bus line back to Parking Larga Estancia, with stated headways usually around 10 to 15 minutes. Keep your parking ticket or QR confirmation handy; you need it at the pay machine or exit barrier. One tip: screenshot your reservation and bay number before you leave the car, so you aren’t wandering rows with luggage after a late flight into BCN.
