At T1 arrivals, baggage claim and customs sit on Level 0, and you should request your Careem or Uber only after you clear customs to avoid cancellation fees. Set your pickup pin to “Bahrain International Airport” in the app and then message the driver with your exact door or meeting point. Most pickups cluster outside the main arrivals exit, a short 2–3 minute walk from the baggage belts.

Careem often prices slightly below standard airport taxis on trips of 10–15 km into central Manama, but costs shift with traffic and surge. Uber runs similar pricing, and both platforms let you choose standard sedans or larger vehicles when traveling with 3–4 bags.
