30 seconds from Terminal A departures: that’s VIP Valet
Drop-off is directly outside Terminal A at Zayed International Airport, with VIP Valet staff taking your car curbside. You hand over the keys where you’d normally unload bags for departures, then walk straight into the terminal doors in under a minute. This is the closest car-to-check‑in option on the airport side of Terminal A.
VIP Valet operates in line with Terminal A’s main departure hours, which cover early-morning long-haul banks and late-night waves to Europe and Asia. If you have a 02:30 or 03:00 departure, staff are on duty during those peak times, so you’re not hunting for parking in the dark before check-in opens. Always match your arrival to your airline’s check-in window, usually 3 hours before an international flight.
This is full valet parking, not self-park. At VIP Valet you pull into the marked valet lane at Terminal A, a staff member completes a quick walk-around of your vehicle, and you receive a ticket or digital confirmation before heading to security. On return to AUH, you go back to the same Terminal A curb, show your ticket, and the car is brought out to the same general drop-off zone.
Prices are higher than the standard Terminal A car parks, reflecting the curbside service and short walk. If you normally park in the multi-storey, factor in that you’re trading the elevator and 5–10 minute walk for a straight-line stroll from the valet stand to the check-in island for your airline. For very short trips of 1–2 days, the cost jump is smaller than it looks compared with a full week.
Tip: Screenshot or note the exact VIP Valet lane location at Terminal A before driving in, so you don’t waste time looping the departures ramp when traffic builds during the late-night departure bank.
